Okay, so I know that this is not what you all are looking for, but I had this idea and had to write it down. Here we go.

I do not own Alex Rider.

Tears Running Down His Face

When his parents died, he never cried. He probably would have, if he'd known, but he hadn't. He'd only been one years old, after all. Then he grew up without his parents, and he never thought to cry for them.

Then Ian was his only relative left. The rest had all died before he was born. So he had no need to cry for them. He'd never met them, not even as a baby.

So Ian, and then Jack, were his only family left. And then Ian died. He thought he would cry, but he didn't. Perhaps he'd known he'd been betrayed, even if it wasn't on purpose. He would never know, anyway.

Yassen was next. When he met him, he wasn't sure about his emotions. In the end, he thought of Yassen as an ally, maybe even a friend, and was grateful to him, but he still didn't cry. Yassen, his only ally in the crazy world of spies and assassins, had died, but he didn't cry.

And then Ash came. The man was his godfather, but he betrayed him. The only good thing that came out of it was Ash dying. You can imagine why he didn't cry.

Then it happened. Jack was captured with him. Jack escaped without him. Jack got into a car. A car that was hooked to a bomb. A bomb that went off, with Jack inside.

He was heartbroken. His last friend, family member really, and she was gone. Dead. Never coming back.

He knew he hadn't cried since he was five, and he broke his wrist. He often joked that he was out of tears. he never thought he'd cry again.

But that was what he did. Hours later, after Jack was dead and they'd won, he cried.

He had, honestly, not expected it. So he was surprised when he felt a foreign, wet feeling on his cheeks. At first he thought it was raining. Then he realized he was wrong. That was when Alex discovered he had tears running down his face.

So what did you think? This was really just an on the spot thing, something I wanted to do to show how much Alex loved Jack, so I understand if you tell me it's horrible.

But, please, review.
