The bar sat eerily quiet, for the first time in since its opening no one was at this now renowned establishment, no one except the two men who had just entered into the room from opposite sides.
"Ahh how nice it is to see you again" said the one coming from the north door of the bar, with a rather wicked smile on his face.
"Why thank you old friend" responded the one coming from the south door of the bar.
The two both walked to the middle of the room where a small table and two chairs both appeared with the flick of the north man's wrist.
"Please wont you have a seat?" asked the man.
"I don't think I will but thank you anyways." The other said calmly.
"Well no trouble then, it's there if you want" the man responded, "but I must ask, what exactly brings you here tonight, especially since it appears that a storm is approaching us?"
"They've taken her" the other said quietly, "I need your help getting her back."
"Are you sure they have her?" the man asked as he waved his hand making a small cup of tea appear in front of him.
"Yes, a hour after I returned a owl dropped this letter off" the other responded as he took an envelope from his jacket and threw it onto the table.
The man put his cup down and opened the envelope; he scanned it for a moment then looked up at the other.
"It does appear so then, but how do you know they won't just kill her when it's all over?" he asked
"I don't.." the other said trying to fight back tears, "but I have to try"
"Hmm, this is a peculiar situation isn't it" said the man, "Oh hello there Katherine" there were a few quiet pops and from out of the shadows a woman appeared.
"We have done what you asked master" she said sinerestly as she knelt to one knee.
"Master?" the other said with a look of bewilderment on his face, "They work for you"
"Those with the most gold are the ones most respected my dear boy" the man said calmly as he sipped his tea.
"But WHY" the other yelled, "WHY TAKE HER?"
"Simple" the man responded "We need her blood"
Suddenly the door to the bar flew open, another man with his wand out pointing it at the man sitting down.
"Get out of here now Parker, they have people in the ministry, there coming for you as we speak." He said
"AVADA KEDAVRA" Katherine had jumped up pointing her wand at the man who had just arrived.
A green bolt flew from her wand and hit the man square in the chest sending him back through the door.
"NO" Parker screamed as he withdrew his wand.
"Let the games begin" the man said calmly as he looked up at a Katherine
The woman then said something strange and another green bolt flew from her wand hitting the man. His body fell forward as the table and chairs disappeared.
"You better run boy, there coming to get you." Katherine said with an evil laugh as she suddenly disappeared into a black smoke.
Parker was in a slight shock, he then ran out of the building, people were now out of their houses wondering what all the noise was about, he looked around but didn't see the body of the man who had come to warn him.
"There that's him" a voice from down the street said to a group of aurors as he pointed at Parker.
Parker didn't waste any time, he turned the opposite direction of the aurors and began to run.
"PARKER STOP" a voice at the head of the aurors yelled.
