"Jinmay, get back here!" Jinmay's creator called, a bit annoyed at his creation's excitement.
"But I finally have a voice!" Jinmay cried. The young robot had received her first vocal chip that morning, and all the teen wanted to do was sing and talk.
"Jinmay, I mean it this time. You never know when Cierco will be attacked."
JC, Jinmay's creator, stepped into the sunlight Cierco's two suns had to offer. He squinted. "Jinmay," He muttered. The girl stopped and sighed, her green eyes no longer shined brightly.
"Sorry, dad," Jinmay told JC. She stepped inside and as soon as she entered, she felt herself being led to the lab.
"Just a check-up," Jinmay mouthed as JC told her. They had daily check-ups on her systems, and Jinmay trudged down the steps.
"Can't we skip today? I feel completely charged and ready for anything."
"You don't realize what kind of creatures attack Cierco, and you must be prepared for it!" JC snapped. Jinmay glanced down and sighed deeply.
"Let's get it over with," She muttered. JC unscrewed the heart on her chest- the source of her power- as she was put into sleep mode. JC upgraded her jets, so she could fly faster. He also gave her a new power- to shoot an energy beam from her heart. She was ready to face anything. Anything excluding my old friend from science class... JC thought.
JC had been rivals with the Alchemist since the seventh grade, ever since he had spilt milk on JC's science fair project during lunch. But when word reached Cierco that one of the greatest inventors and scientists of all time had gone evil, JC stopped at nothing to protect his planet. Jinmay had been the creation.
JC smiled happily at Jinmay, who sort of in a way became his daughter, and she awakened. "Can I go play-" Alarms sounds and lights flashed.
"We're being attacked!" JC cried, pressing buttons furiously to secure his weapons and chemicals. Jinmay didn't need to be told what to do. She pushed the heart in her chest and her eyes glowed pink with confidence. She stormed out of the shakey wood house. The people of Cierco cheered at the sight of her.
"It's the robo girl!" A towns woman called.
"Jinmay's here!" Her son cheered.
"WE'RE SAVED!" The whole town practically said in unison.
Jinmay loved the praise, but had other priorities at the moment. A giant, snarling, foaming at the mouth bunny rabbit was attacking Cierco.
Some snotty young boy said rudely, "Look at that! How perfect! The ugly girl can fight the ugly bunny!"
The gray, slobbery rabbit snatched him up and immediately swallowed him whole.
Jinmay cringed, rude or not, he was a citizen of Cierco, and she would rescue him. She leapt into the air and used her new and improved heart beam on the rabbit. The ugly creature twitched it's nose and faced Jinmay. It narrowed it's eyes. Jinmay had a look of disgust on it's face. The rabbit shot red lasers from it's eyes, and Jinmay dodged quickly. That can't be normal...
Jinmay gathered her courage and streamed towards the bunny. She held her fist out as it glowed pink and dug it into the creature's stomach. No effect.
The rabbit grabbed one of Jinmay's pigtails and swung her around a bit, then finally tossed her into the air with enouh force to send her out of the atmosphere. She floated in space.
The people of Cierco fretted and ran inside their houses. The rabbit continued to rampage until a silver robot landed and five monkeys leapt out along with a young boy.
Jinmay floated along through space. After a month of floating, her battery was low and Jinmay shut down. She was finally found by a rock-like spaceship where her memory was erased.
Jinmay forgot all about JC, the rabbit, Cierco, the rude town's boy, everything. She even forgot she was a robot.
