Not Jonathan - just John.
Last name rhymes with "Ooo! Well!"

K is for King,
Ruling Men, Dwarves or Elves.
Middle-earth folks, it seems,

Sam's favorite snack:

M is for mithril
And, as we've been told,

N is for Narsil,
A wicked sharp blade:
One whack and the Dark Lord

Who, at Dagorlad,

And things turned out bad.

P is for Palantir
A tricksy old stone.

R is for Rumil
Who doesn't speak Westron,
So he looks down his nose
As The Nine all march along.

T is for Tar-Her,
And it's for Tar-Him.
Tar-Alcarin to Tar-Vanimeldë –
Tar's a big prefix with Mr. Tolkien.

U is for Ulmo,
Ainu of the Sea.
He tore loose an island
To make an Elf ferry.

W is for Witch-King,
The leader of Nazgûl.
He listened to Sauron...
My, what a sad fool!

Y is for Yavanna,
Yavanna Kementári.
She sang into being Two Trees,
All pretty and starry.

Z is for Zamîn
Who served Lady Erendis
Whose marriage to Tar-Aldarion
Was not so tremendous.
