Hi guys! I know it's probably stupid of me to be starting another story since I haven't finished any of the other ones, but oh well. I am feeling totally INSPIRED by this story. Hear that, INSPIRED! Anyway please no hate if my updates are late, remember I still have school. so anyway on with the story!
Emily's POV
I was excited. Why? You might ask. Well, here's the answer. I was finally going back Titus, I was going to see all my friends! Joel, Paelen, Stella, Fawn, I was going to see my dad and Diana, and so many others. As I focused on what I was doing I realized we were almost there. Soon Pegs and I burst through the solar stream. My family didn't know I was coming home today, I decided not to tell them since I wanted to surprise them. We landed softly on the grass when I spotted Paelen. I ran up to him, hoping he didn't see me. Then I jumped on his back.
"BOO!" I screamed.
He nearly fell over from the shock, but soon I came down with him, dying from laughter.
"Emily! What are you going here?"
"Riza said I could leave to go see you guys!"
Then he scooped me up in a big hug. But when he set me down I noticed he was sad.
"Paelen, what's wrong?"
He seemed startled for a second.
"No-no-noth-thing" He stuttered.
But I knew him better than that.
"Paelen," I said sternly.
He sighed but told me anyway.
"Just come with me but don't say I didn't warn you."
"Okay?"
He led me to where I stayed when I was on Titus.
While we were walking, I noticed people giving me pitying looks.
"Huh" I wondered.
Paelen told me to wait in the hall, so I did.
While I was waiting I heard a voice, one that sounded just like Joel's. Wait Joel! I forgot to surprise him.
I ran to the room where I heard him but stopped when I got there. I couldn't stop the tears that were streaming down my face. Because in the room where Joel was there was also a pretty blond with blue eyes. But that wasn't the worse part. As I came in they just happened to be leaning in and kissing.
