That Red Gentleman.
Things have changed for me, but thats ok.
After 8 months in a relationship with Hermione, Ron realized the reason they were growing apart was because he had changed into someone he felt he'd never met. He was falling for a friend he acquired after the war, a muggle girl by the name of Acadia. In the months he had known her, she had had quite a few boyfriends, and he never said he missed her when everybody kissed her, and he was the only one to blame for holding this in. His break up words to Hermione were, "Things have changed for me, but that's ok, I feel the same." Hermione, like everything else, took this with good grace. Ron knew part of this was that he hated being in the wizarding world spotlight. He loved being around Acadia, he went to places everyone went, knew what everyone there knew, he went to places where everyone felt the same. He knew it was well time he got something his way like everyone else.
When he approached Acadia, she was single. He already had his line ready, "Things are shaping up to be pretty odd. Things have changed for me, but that's ok. I just want to say that I never said I missed you when everybody kissed you, and I'm to blame. I want to go where you go, know what you know, I want you to feel the same. I want you to let me correct this, I want to live a life from a new perspective. You come along because I love your face, and I'll admire your expensive tastes. Let's go to a substandard motel, and get our teen hearts beating faster." he said all this in one breath and she laughed. "I'm closer to a piece of broken glass than a diamond you know." At this, Ron grinned, "Diamonds appear to be just like broken glass to me."
Acadia blushed, and Ron took his moment. "Acadia, I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, and a better fuck than any boy you'll ever meet, so," he took a deep breath, "Willyoubemygirlfriend?" even though it was fast, and indiscernible, the girl knew what he was asking, and her face lit up, "Yes!" Ron grinned, and pulled her into a kiss, then said, "For lunch, would you like a butter croissant, baby?"
