Prompt: "Let's pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars. I could really use a wish right now."
Airplanes and Shooting Stars
Lucy Weasley, a red-head of course, laid her head on her blonde boyfriend, Lorcan's shoulder. Lorcan, like his mother, had a tendency to space-out and stare at things.
"Stars are pretty, aren't they?" he murmured, his silvery-blue eyes reflecting the moonlight in them.
"Yes, they are," Lucy said back, but wasn't sure if Lorcan even noticed she was talking. He was so wrapped up in whatever he was thinking about, Lucy could almost see his mind ticking. Lorcan jolted up as something shot across the sky. It seemed he had suddenly come back into reality.
"Look, Luce, a shooting star!" his eyes following the glowing streak across the sky, Lorcan exclaimed, like he thought it was a UFO instead of a shooting star.
"That's not a shooting star, Lorc," Lucy giggled, sitting up as well, "It's just a Muggle airplane."
Lorcan winked at her. "We can pretend, can't we?"
Lucy smiled. "Make a wish, Lorcan!"
