(Robin/Kid Flash) This is a One-Shot - In just a moment, Robin fell asleep. KF might have just the thing to make Boy Wonder comfy.

-Justice League Library-

"Robin?" Kid Flash had pushed the door open. He noticed the black hair tuff sticking over the edge of a chair back.

He slipped closer and noticed the black-haired boy was sound asleep. His legs were over the right arm rest and his head was tucked against the back. His right arm was gently resting atop a book on his mid torso. The boy's left arm was resting on the chair beside him.

Kid Flash knelt down and waved one hand in front of Robin's face. When he just heard the soft breathing from the other boy's lips, he leaned on the chair, sitting down.

His eyes wandered over the mess of black hair. He saw the Kevlar-lined mask with it's sharp edges. His emerald eyes followed the contour of his nose and down to his raspberry-colored lips.

They were parted, ever so slightly. He looked almost peaceful.

Almost.

Robin never looked at peace with himself. He always looked like there was something inside of him that was eating away at him. Something dark, deep within his heart, a monster that ate away at his very pure being and kinder smile. Robin's actions spoke more of trying to find something within him that wasn't easily obtained.

Kid Flash looked over his shoulder at the door before he reached down and pulled off the crimson glove on his right hand. He reached over and gently brushed the black hair away from Robin's creme skin.

Robin suddenly moved and Kid Flash moved back, by instinct.

Robin let the book fall off his torso and hit the floor. He pulled his legs in a bit and pulled his arms in closer. Robin looked like he was cold.

Kid Flash looked at his fingertips before he looked back at Robin. Would he notice?

Kid Flash zipped off to find a warm blanket for the Boy Wonder. He found a nice, soft, black blanket for Robin. He came right back and found Robin still fast asleep.

He put the book on the chair nearby and was about to throw the blanket over Robin when he noticed there was room for another person on the chair. Kid Flash smirked, they were buds, he didn't think Robin would care.

-Later-

"Robin, explain it!"

"I can't!"

"Why?"

Kid Flash and Robin were both rubbing the tops of their heads as Batman kept his arms crossed. Aquaman shook his head and crossed his own arms.

"You know that it's not proper for two men to share a blanket."

"It is not!" Robin detested.

"Yes, it is."

"Batman! It was only because I've been freezing in here! You guys never turn up the heater or tune down the AC!"

"Deal with it."

"I have! I was just..."

Kid Flash was laughing at this whole ordeal. "Dude, you guys need a new outlook on life." He smiled, rubbing his left eye free of tears. "Look, I did it. He was cold, I brought him a blanket. I figured he needed more heat, so, I squeezed in next to him."

Robin's face went from pale to red in a flash. He covered his mouth and nose, looking away.

Kid Flash shrugged. "What's the biggie? I was helping a poor, cold soul." He patted Robin's sore crown. "We'll not be cuddling under a blanket again, trust me."

Robin suddenly smacked Kid Flash. "Don't do that!"

"Do what?"

"Cuddle!"

"Why?"

"It's weird!"

"You're weird." Kid Flash smiled. He grabbed Robin around the neck and knuckled his head. "It's not gonna happen again."

They seemed satisfied and left the room.

Kid Flash had released Robin, but he captured Robin's face and, ever so lightly, touched lips with the Boy Wonder. There was a moment where Kid Flash actually thought his heart could leap bounds.

He backed up and saluted Robin. The boy opened his mouth to protest when-

"Catch me if you can!"
