Members of the Kertia Clan were masters at hide-and-seek. While children of different clans never really had time to socialize with each other, there were still important occasions where the Lord arranged a gathering for the entirety of Lukedonia, both children and adults. It was at one such event where the Kertias ended up conducting a mass search party.

Rael Kertia, at only 18 months old, had managed to master walking silently. This aided the child whenever he wanted to explore something interesting without the interference of adults. His ability to avoid gaining attention helped him greatly in escaping supervision and causing a slight panic at the Kertia Manor. However, that was back at the manor; the area was limited and finding him only took a few hours at most.

Even though Rayga Kertia had specifically asked several members of his clan to keep an eye on his second son, Rael had still managed to wander off and it wasn't until the Lord asked to see his children did anyone realize that he was missing.

Naturally, the Lord made it a game to find the missing child. Darkness didn't bother nobles but Rael was still young and Rayga, with his paternal instincts, was incredibly worried despite maintaining his emotionless exterior.

Hours later and no progress was made. Of course the Lord's grounds were far larger than the Kertia grounds. This search could likely last for days as Rael was small enough to fit almost anywhere and quiet enough to stay unnoticed.

Rayga was just about to drop his calm exterior in favor of panic when someone pointed out that they have yet to search the palace in favor of the grounds. Thus, the seekers relocated to searching every nook and cranny in the castle. Hours later, attention was drawn to the West Wing of the castle when Karias Blerster came racing towards Rayga.

Apparently, Rajak had followed some sounds he had heard while searching. Upon investigation, he saw his self-proclaimed best friend playing with his missing little brother. Needless to say, he was not amused and, despite his rather calm nature, had threatened his peer quite creatively should he ever take his brother without notifying him or his father ever again.
