Chapter One.

"Thanks, come again" George smiled at his latest customer. Once they had left he sighed. He'd been working non-stop since the battle ended. He needed a distraction from his mind. His family were worried about his welfare and his mum often invited him over for dinner. He told them he was fine and work kept him occupied. He had watched his siblings get married and start families of their own and felt happy for them, yet wished he could have it for himself. He'd been lonely since the battle. To go from having someone by your side always to being alone was strange. He saw his siblings and their partners often but it just made him lonelier. Bill had jokingly suggested he try a dating agency but the thought rather appealed to George. He needed to get out and meet a woman and settle down. He picked up the directory enquiries and found a number for a decent looking agency. He scribbled it down and decided to call when he got home.

Hermione was visiting Ginny Potter one evening while Harry was away. Hermione and Ron had a mutual split due to work commitments. They remained good friends and spoke regularly, which Hermione found a relief as she was close to his family and they had many mutual friends. "So what's new with you these days?" Ginny asked as she poured a glass of wine for each of them. "Nothing besides work, work and more work" Hermione replied picking up her glass. "That's a shame" Ginny said, picking up her glass and taking a sip. "I suppose, it keeps me occupied though, I couldn't bear to just sit about all day" Hermione smiled before taking a sip. "What's new with you? How are things with Harry?" She asked, setting her glass on the coffee table. "Not too much, work, I suppose. Oh everything's just great, it feels like we were meant to be, I can't believe we're finally engaged and…sorry, I've been babbling on, how's your love-life?" Ginny asked. "Non-existent" Hermione sighed. "Hey, you'll find someone Hermione, you're a great woman, any guy would be lucky you be with you" Ginny comforted. "Thanks Ginny" Hermione smiled. "So when was the last time you…you know…did it" Ginny giggled after a glass of wine. "Hmm…I guess just over a month ago" Hermione giggled. "Oh god…I did it last night! And this morning too actually" Ginny laughed. "Okay Ginny I don't want to know about yours and Harry's sex life" Hermione laughed. After a lot more chatting and some wine, Hermione said goodbye to her friend and apparated home. She opened the door to her apartment and stepped inside. She noticed a flyer on the mat inside the door. She picked it up and scanned over it. Come to the Cherub Chaser Dating Agency for all your dating needs.
