Ulrich was just sitting under his favorite tree in the Kadic Academy forest. It was a normal Saturday morning, the birds were chirping, Odd & Kiwi were in the boys dorm sleeping still, and Ulrich was outside playing guitar and singing. He could never have imagined what was about to happen.
Ulrich opened his mouth to sing the next verse of the song he was working on, when his phone suddenly lit up. He was caught off-guard by the name lighting up his phone screen. Ulrich blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing correct. He had received a text message from Yumi, which was extremely odd considering she hasn't spoken to him in months. Then again, she felt no need to. XANA was destroyed and she was dating William, leaving Ulrich beyond heartbroken. Ulrich finally unlocked his phone and checked the message. "Ulrich, I'm so sorry I completely shut you out when I was dating William. I really miss you and could use a friend right about now."
Ulrich suddenly woke up, frantically searching for his phone. When he finally found it, he quickly unlocked it, searching for the message he longed to see. His search was useless though, Yumi had never sent him that message. Ulrich had this weird feeling in the pit of his stomach, he was suspicious and curious. He never had dreams like this about Yumi. Sure, he thought about her everyday, but never had these dreams. This was the third one this week. Ulrich decided to keep an eye on William and Yumi. He sensed something was wrong, if only he knew how right he was. Something was wrong, very wrong in fact and Ulrich would find out soon.
