Chapter 1
Everything Changes
I was just a normal girl. Okay. I lived an Average life, I knew average people, and I wanted to be average. I always was told I was "Gifted" or "Talented", and I just thought, Meh, that's what they tell every other student. Oh but boy was I wrong. All I wanted to be, was normal. Not being Criticized by how I look, and living an average life. By look, I mean that I had these tattoo's on my body that started appearing when I was about 11 years old. My parents freaked the fuck out when they started appearing, and at the time, I really didn't care. I mean, It probably was just a little prank a friend pulled on me, but I doubted that after they just appeared, and even changed, I became so nervous about what was happening to my body. All over the place, breasts, arms, neck, everywhere, they just started appearing. I freaked out so bad! I couldn't figure out how the fuck they appeared, until the one day.
The day I turned 13, my parents brought me to a creepy abandoned warehouse. Dusty, filled with cobwebs, and abandoned, it was freaking me out. Then, I was confronted by an old man. He had a long beard, one, bug blue eye, like a crystal looking thing, and one, smaller black eye. He wore a large purple robe, with many stars on it. He also had a pointy hat on himself, boy was I a little creeped. I was in an abandoned warehouse, dusty, creepy, and I had an old man infront of me, holding a scroll in one had, and a staff in the other!
"So" Said the Dude, "You must be Skyler Rosebach"
"How" I said with a misunderstood tone in my voice, "How the fuck do you know my name? And By the way, people call me Skye."
"Well then, young Skyler, you have been brought here to take a test. But this is no ordinary test, and I am sure you are aware that what goes on this test is life changing. So let us begin!" He says as he throws the scroll in the air, and then lands in front of me, with a quill right next to it.
I start writing down the answers, and instead of pages, the scroll changes. As I do this, some of my tattoo's start to dissapear. When I realize this, I get that, this is no ordinary shitty school test, this test it the real deal. I keep on answering, and finally, it stops, the scroll is blank.
"These are your Final Answers?" He asks
"Yes, they are" I say
"Good, then we shall proceed." He says, and then A beam of light flashes down, and I am brought to a castle somehow.
"Welcome, to Ravenwood school of Magic!" I hear the man say, I look around, and I see people in robes like his, with school books, wands, staffs, swords. This place was right out of a fairy tale, and I knew, I wasn't going to get that normal life I wanted. I wasn't going to be a normal person, I knew, that I was obviously special, and that I should embrace that fact.
