Little drabble - d'know where it came from. But, Here!

Most villains and civilians don't get it.

Heroes aren't born in their spandex or armor plates. They don't just patrol nonstop like people like to think they are. They don't just run and leap and fight.

No, they have a normal life too.

Villains only plan out heists, they get up and start to plan, think about their next big job and how the cash will roll in. They can get up when ever they want and unleash a plan for the hero to, hopefully, fail.

They don't really have a normal life.

Civilians tend to think that all the heroes were like Athena, springing forth into existence dressed in uniform and ready to fight. Thinking that your hero, your idol was once a child was a… well, scary thought. Batman as a child? A teen? No, that just didn't seem right.

What is a teenagers main concern?

Oh, that guy totally likes me!

He's so cute!
Damn! Test today, didn't study!

Oh my god, homework!

A hero, a partner, went to school did their school work, went home, got dressed, went on patrol, came back, did homework and slept - only to repeat again the next day.

That's the part people don't get - a hero has a family, a hero has friends, a life that doesn't involve saving the world.

That's what makes a superhero - dedication.
