The day of the party. One of the biggest in town, in fact. Held by a rich woman, though her name was unknown. Only the richest were invited, for the woman was showing of a diamond she recently was sent in by her sister in a different country.
Kokichi smoothed out his tuxedo several times, twirling around in the mirror. He admired his roller skates, the worn out, retracting wheels and black leather and all.
Kokichi clutched the silver platter in his arms and adjusted his name tag so it clearly said "Kokichi."
Kokichi walked into the dining room, looking at the blue-haired singer singing a slow jazz song.
Kokichi knew the kitchen was nearby the place where the diamond was stored, so he walked towards the exhibit room.
There was no one in the exhibit room, so Kokichi peered in, seeing the bright diamond.
It truly was beautiful, and he would pocket it for himself, but he knew that he couldn't do that.
Diamond Jack was gone for good.
Kokichi started to walk away until he heard a light beeping. He peered back in and squinted into the diamond.
Red numbers outlined a timer. 12:00. Twelve minutes.
Kokichi gasped as he recognized a timer. A bomb.
Kokichi quickly sprinted to the kitchen, swiping a margarita into his platter and walking out into the dining room were the singer was still singing.
Kokichi put on a small smile as he had a conversation with a blonde guest before him, introducing herself cheerfully as a brilliant inventor.
Kokichi had no interest in speaking to her. He needed to remove the bomb. He excused himself, saying he needed to take the next order.
Kokichi sprinted to the exhibit room, throwing his platter aside. He flipped his black jacket inside out, which then became a brilliant white. Doing the same with his pants, Kokichi admired the soft satin of Diamond Jack's clothes.
Seemingly Kokichi's secret identity returned, this time to do good.
Kokichi pulled his hat out, pushing the top out and placing on his head.
Sneakily, he crept into the room where a automaton bear was showing a rich blonde woman with a dress like a piano the other relics around the room.
Kokichi slipped his hand around the cold diamond, slipping into his coat jacket and then making a run for the door.
He caught himself laughing with exhilaration as the emergency bell went off.
