It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair. Why did I have to become a medicine cat. Why did I have to be blind. Why couldn't I have lived in her time.
I loved her.
That's right I did. There I admit it.
I don't know what it is about her. Her beautiful fur, blazing eyes, her sweet scent.
I missed her. That's right. Grumpy old Jayfeather missied something. I missed her.

Ohh, why couldn't I be born in his time. Why can't I be with him. I should be happy but I'm not.
