The War between Camps
This is my first fanfiction, so please tell me what I should have done better. Please no flames. Constructive criticism is welcome! Thank you in advance for all the people who review.
Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus, Rick Riordan does (please don't sue me) However, I do own Atalanta, Kyle, Helen, Sammy, Raphael, and Aiden.
Chapter One: They're coming
I look off into the distance watching the Romans coming from the hill. "Lanta, do you see them?" my friend, Kyle, asks. He's the 2nd in command for the Ares cabin, but he's like a brother to me. "Yes, I see them," I reply, "Tell Nyssa and Aiden to make weapons and armor. Tell Raphael to work in the infirmary with his siblings. I'll contact Helen and Sammy." Nyssa and Aiden are twins from the Hephaestus cabin, (A/N I don't own Nyssa. She's in The Lost Hero) they are skilled in crafting weapons and armor. Raphael is the son of Apollo. He is skilled in archery and medicine. Kyle runs off to tell our friends my orders. While running he yells, "Will do! See you later, Lanta!" I climb up Thalia's pine tree and watch the Romans coming closer and closer to Half-Blood Hill. I untie the Golden Fleece very quickly and tie it closer to the top of the tree just in case the Romans get a hold of it. Peleus, the dragon who guards Thalia's pine, is sick. Then my half-sister Annabeth Iris messaged me about the Romans. Now I'm the guardian of Camp Half-Blood. The Romans come closer. I take out my bow and aim it at a Roman. As they come closer to Half-Blood Hill, I release the bowstring. The arrow went flying at the Romans The arrow swoops down and hits a Roman's armor. Clink! The Romans stop and a girl on a brown pegasus asks, "Who did that? That graecus will be killed". I yell, "Me, I did it!" I jump down from Thalia's pine and Romans. I say, "I'm Atalanta Kline, daughter of Athena, legacy of Hermes and Ares. I'm the guardian of Camp Half-Blood." The girl on the pegasus says, "Erika, go get the graecus out of the way." Erika nods her head and walks over to me. I grab my special sword, πολεμιστής, or Warrior, and Erika does the same. I slash Warrior but Erika dodges out of the way. She tries to stab me with her sword but I block her sword with Warrior. When Erika and I lock eyes and the fights continues; the War between Camps begins.
