I could feel myself slipping into an unknown darkness. The faint sound of sirens surrounding the estate the place of my birth and certain demise.

Momiji Sohma stepped over the unseen boundary that separated him from the horror that lay inside one of the most famous and haunting estates in the sohma family.
"Jesus Christ" was the only sentence he uttered upon examining the blood splattered walls and bodies. One of them was a fourteen year old girl with short auburn hair she had been attending one of the best private schools in japan when she had apparently walked in on the murderer.
"Anyone you know?" one of the crime scene investigators asked. "No" Momiji replied. The Sohma family had never been a close family.
Akito who had been adopted into the family by victims became the head of the family always keeping secrets no-one was ever allowed to see the younger sister.

Smoke filled the tiny office space as Momiji viewed Kisa Sohma's personal records. Kisa Sohma had been officially labeled as Catatonic meaning she suffered a severe mental disorder and could possibly never speak or walk again.
Akito Sohma who was five years older had dissappeared completly a few days before the murder and all attempts at tracking him down had failed now all that remained was a frustrated detective an unsolvable crime and a victim with no past or future.
