To crawl my way outta here

To scare away anyone who gets near me
If I was an animal I would slither around everyone's legs
To sneak away
If I was an animal I would be strong
To fight off all these demons
If I was an animal you would be my prey
To have you forever
If I was an animal I would live only a day
To pass by everyone unnoticed
If I was an animal I would have invisible skin
To be nobody around everybody
Did I get lost?
Did I walk too far away from home?
But now everyone has a different face
And different voices
