I surveyed the area carefully; I couldn't get seen by my father. He was too protective of me and kept me in a separate building from his company, but I just wanted to explore. My flowing red curls were pinned back into a ponytail with just a few strands of silky hair hanging by my face. The loud clanking sound of my high heels made every step a risk of being caught so I unhooked my black strapped heels and dumped them into a nearby bush, hoping to pick them back up later. I wore a black lace summer dress and a locket hung around my neck, it was heart shaped and held a picture of the one man I and my father hoped I would marry, Sephiroth. I am President Shinra's daughter, my brother Rufus was a few years older than me and has all the freedom he wants, it`s not fair that just because I'm a girl, I have to be the little bird in a cage.
The sun felt so good on my skin, and the grass tickled my feet. I walked around the SOLDIER courtyard some more, there was two guys playing chess intently under a tree, a man eating his lunch at a table, and some others practicing their combat moves. Although I was excited to see what the real World was like, this is boring. I sighed with a heavy heart, I continued to walk the halls with my head down, and I crashed face-first into someone well built.
"Ah! I'm so sorry…"
I stopped when I lifted up my head and my eyes met with bright cyan eyes and long platinum hair. My face glowed red 'Oh god what now…'
"Aren't you the President's daughter?"
His voice was cool and calming, it sent shivers down my spine. I shook my head and ran the opposite direction, only to be caught by another man, this one blonde with spiky hair and almost as young as me.
"Yea you're Kia Shinra alright, Sir what do we do with her?"
I struggled within his grip, I was so ashamed, being caught lying and letting a tear fall down my cheek.
"What are you doing down in the SOLDIER building? Your father wouldn't like it if he knew his 17 year-old daughter was running about with no protection."
Sephiroth had a slight smirk on his face as he signaled the blonde to let me go.
"I'm not a stupid little girl, I can fight to protect myself…and I um…never mind maybe I should be going back…"
"Awww don't go, maybe we could teach you a few things."
The blonde looked from me to Sephiroth eagerly.
"Cloud Strife this is the President's only daughter. She shouldn't even be out of her building."
My heart sunk, he doesn't want me here. Ok here goes my last resort.
"Sephiroth I love you!"
Cloud flinched and looked at his older friend in shock, Sephiroth looked slightly taken aback but, he coolly replied,
"Excuse me?"
My face lit up bright red this time and I dashed through the courtyard not looking back, and hoping no one was following because I sobbed so hard that I started to wheeze.
