"Why the hell did I let that dumb ball of fluff off of his leash?" Anna panted to herself as she tore through the local park for the sixth time this month. The redhead was after her dog, Marshmallow, who had made a mad dash for what looked like a white rabbit. The two white streaks went around a bend and Anna feet almost slid out from under her as she attempted to follow.
This always happened to her. Kristoff never had these issues with his mild-mannered, trainable St. Bernard, Sven. Anna just had to get the Pyrenees that seemed to have unlimited energy. At the time, the redhead though it would be a great idea. At the time, she thought it would be great to have a pet with the energy to match hers. Currently, Anna was just cursing the distractibility of her animal.
"Marshmallow, sit!" Anna yelled, trying to control her pet in vein.
Finally, Anna came to a stop. It seemed that Marshmallow had cornered the poor creature he had been chasing against a tree. It also seemed that Marshmallow was attempting to have his way with the poor creature he had been chasing against a tree. Morbid curiosity got the better of Anna and she moved around to the side to see what it was that her dog was thrusting against.
"Of course," Anna muttered to herself. Her genius of a dog was humping the empty space above a small white Chihuahua.
"Are you just going to stand there and watch, or are you going to get your dog to stop molesting mine?"
Anna turned to the sound of the voice. Behind her stood a stunning woman with platinum blonde hair, sky blue eyes, and a very annoyed look. She stood about two inches taller than Anna with her arms crossed, waiting for an answer. "Oh, yes, sorry!" Anna apologized quickly.
The redhead called for Marshmallow, who just looked at her and continued to thrust into the air. Anna scowled and turned to the blonde.
"Olaf." The other called with a very commanding tone. The Chihuahua trotted out from under Marshmallow and right up to the blonde, who picked up the small dog.
"Wow," Anna said, "my dog is as gay as I am." Then she realized she had not introduced herself to the woman. "Hi, I'm Anna." She introduced herself while holding out a hand to shake.
"Was that supposed to be some sort of pick-up line?" The blonde asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No!" Anna exclaimed and rushed to explain. "I just realized I didn't introduce myself, but I was also thinking out loud. I do that sometimes. Wow, I guess that did sound kind of like a pick-up line. Sorry about that. I'm also sorry about Marshmallow. He doesn't listen very well. You're really pretty. What's your name? Maybe we could go get coffee together sometime." The redhead stopped speaking abruptly and clamped her mouth shut as a blush bloomed across her cheeks.
The blonde stared at her with wide eyes. "Elsa. I'm Elsa." Her gaze adverted to the side for a moment before coming back to Anna. "There is an out-door café further in the park, if you want to get that coffee together?"
"Really?" Anna asked, amazed that Elsa was willing to get a drink with her, considering the circumstances of their meeting and the redhead's rather impressive display of word-vomit.
The blonde nodded, "only if you want to, of course."
Anna smiled, "I'd love too."
Elsa smiled and the two started down the path with their dogs. "So, is this how you meet all the girls you ask to coffee?"
Anna's blush darkened, "no, you're just special."
This caused Elsa to blush and the two walked all the way to the café with rosy cheeks.
