Severus sat down in potions class an hour early, writing down potions in his book and mixing potions together. His secret crush and best friend Lily Evans just walked in and sat down.
Lily looked at him and said "What are you making?" Severus tried not to glance at her while he mixed the potion together "It's suppose to be a very strong love potion, Greffory Mort wants one and I think I got the formula down right but it has to be tested."
She promptly picked up the potion when he stopped stirring and examined the small tube. It was dark pink color and smelt faintly of peaches. Lily opened her mouth and drank the potion, leaving Severus sputtering "L-Lily! I was going to test it on myself."
Lily's bright green eyes stared at him and she leaned in, resting her cheek against his shoulder saying to him in a breathy voice "I love when you get nervous." She felt him gulp and she giggled "I love you."
Severus felt a deep blush creeping down his neck and he said sternly "You shouldn't have taken it. I didn't know it makes you fall in love with the first person you see." He started grumbling and scratching out part of formula.
"Severus?" Lily called him and he turned to look at her, she planted a firm kiss on the mouth. His eyes were wide as she broke the kiss saying "The potion didn't do anything." He felt out raged "Yes, it did! You kissed me just now and said you loved me."
She smiled slyly saying "I was acting like it worked but it didn't. You are missing Primrose powder, that is what makes the potion activate. I felt like I was drinking sparkling peach juice." He felt quite stupid and still quite surprised.
He looked at her with his deep brown eyes saying "Do you really love me?" Her smile got wider as she says "Yes. And I am going to kiss you again." She leaned forward, brushing her lips against his and that kiss formed into a snog. They snogged until another classmate started opening the door.
Lily's face was flushed and her lips looked slightly swollen as she said "I will see you later." She blew a kiss at him as she got up for her seat. Severus slammed his book shut thinking 'That was the only lesson I needed for today.'
