The Sacrifice
Disclaimer: I do not own the Death Note characters, but I do own Aioa and Yokomi! ^ ^
Note: L does not die in this one because of the sacrifice, but in the series, he does. I am a fan of L… so I like to shake things a bit.
The Start
Bark, bark, BARK!
The sound of the annoying Poodle woke Aioa. Ever since the neighbors moved in next door, nothing has been quiet. Tired, Aioa trudged out of bed and decided to take a walk. It was partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms, but Aioa did not care. Since her brother joined the hunt for Kira, her worst dreams indulged her in terror, afraid she might lose the one person who cared for her since she was 9 years old. Losing him would be like losing herself. Slipping on a pair of blue faded jeans, a simple black tee and hoodie, with white sandals, Aioa put her long black hair in a ponytail and headed for the door. Now their was a second Kira, everyone has been more paranoid, that maybe the person they are talking to could be one of the Kira's. Feeling the cold breeze, Aioa headed out, keeping her eyes to the sidewalk, she walked at a moderate speed.
What if one of my friends could be Kira?Aioa thought.
She had three friends, Light, a boy who was quiet and sometimes bored. Misa – Misa, a famous Model/Actress, who she has known since she started to model two weeks ago and Yumi, a child hood friend who is in a band. Aioa did not mean to think of her friends like that, but things were getting complicated. Before Aioa could react, she bumped into a boy about her age. They both stopped and stared at each other.
"Oh, I am so sorry!"
Aioa kneeled and picked up his books, then handed them to him while she stood up. He had short black hair with bangs that passed his eyes, white skin, and blue eyes and wore a black hoodie with black pants and white shoes.
"No, it is cool, hey are you Aioa- Aioa, the Rising Teen Model, and friends with Misa – Misa?"
Aioa found this a bit odd, she was not as famous as Misa, but this boy seemed to know more then anyone.
"Why yes I am, if you do not mind me asking, what is your name?"
The boy looked puzzled, and then he smiled.
"My name is Yokomi Takasuya; my cousin is a big fan of yours!"
Aioa's eyes grew wide. A fan, but I just started 2 weeks ago. Aioa thought.
"Wow…"
"Yes, his name is L; you might know him as the great detective."
Aioa knew her brother was working with a top detective, but her brother never talked about it.
"Oh, well I am flattered!"
Yokomi laughed, and then took her by the arm. Aioa at first alarmed, decided maybe she COULD trust him.
"Where are we going?"
"We are going to meet L!"
This feeling of dread rested at the bottom of her stomach, but the excitement of having a fan took over.
Just a question for all of you who read this, do you think L will suspect her as a helper of the two Kira's…since her two best friends are "Light" and "Misa – Misa"? xD
