After Edward left Bella. (BD)
I folded up the piece of paper, it's creases hard from placement. I climbed into bed. I tossed and turned for hours, before I heard a creak and my curtains tumbling about as a gust of wind slaps my face. I close the window. I walk back and collapse into bed. I lie down and look at my hands. I rub my finger against the cut, trying to smooth it down, as if it would disappear. A tear slips lonely down my cheek. A pair of cold arms enveloped me, the same ones I haven't felt for 6 months, and his soothing velvet voice filled the room.
"Hush little baby
don't you cry,
don't cut your arms
don't say goodbye
put down that razor,
put down that light,
it may be hard,
but we will win this fight. "
