The wind was blowing. It was a hot, sweaty summer day, as young Sasuke was walking down the path between the Hidden Mist village and the Konoha village. He had to be seperated from Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi due to, well, his antisocial behavior. You see, Sasuke is a very lonely boy. He always wanted to be in a deep, meaningful relationship with a man, as the penis-loving gaylord he is. Unfortunately, Naruto is apparently too childish for his own taste. He tried very hard to like him as he trained for hours by his side, but eventually his immature behavior annoyed the young member of the Uchiwa clan.
Nevertheless, Sasuke kept on walking on the road to the Hidden Mist village, still unsure of what he will find there. He still kept his ears open for incoming danger, because as the youthful, yet well-trained ninja he is, he still knew how dangerous it is to walk alone on a road surrounded by dense forests (even though he's doing EXACTLY that, go figure). Because of his understanding of what was to come, he had decided earlier before he left Konoha village to pack up : A few dozen kunai, four 591mL bottles full of water, a tube of hair gel (Even a ninja needs to keep his hair spiky at all times!), a local map of Konoha and its surroundings, a sleeping bag and four Hokage's Choice© tuna fish cans. (His favorites!)
That being said, Sasuke's backpag was getting quite heavy. He decided to stop for a while. As he was removing his backpack, he took a quick look at the glaring sun, then checked up again in astonishment.
"What the-"
A minuscule, human-shaped shadow could be seen near it's edge. It kept growing bigger and bigger, increasingly hiding the firery orb's radiance off of Sasuke's sight. As the shape grew, so did the loudness of it's manly scream. Even though Sasuke didn't really want to save him, he didn't want to feel guilty of the consequences due from the stranger's death. His sharingan activated, he analyzed the body's descent speed and trajectory; It was going for a hard branch, 20cm in diameter. If Sasuke doesn't do anything, it will most likely break the vulnerable target's back on his landing. In a heartbeat, the young Konoha student ran for the tree with the large branch, and started climbing on it.
Meanwhile, the falling man was still in total panic, with no chance of survival from his unfortunate situation. In fear, he closed his eyes, wrapped his arms around his head and curled his entire body inward. Suddenly, he felt light as a feather, then taken by what seemed to be an angel - a guardian angel, that is to say.
A few seconds after the angel put him on the ground, his sense of gravity came back to normal. At this moment, he relaxed his muscles and started breathing heavily.
"Oh fuck... Oh god... How..." he whispered, nearly hyperventilating.
