Just in love with you

"You love him ghost."

"I do not love him. He's my captain. My friend."

"And you love him." Gary swore he knew it at. He annoyingly sat next to ghost while they had some breakfast. It was 9am and some guys were out playing basketball while others ate and listened to the radio. While Gary was chugging on some oatmeal he watched ghost watch john.

"Hey Gary does he talk about you know...me?" Gary took a second and twirled his oatmeal and smiled widely. Simon knew with that stupid smirk he had to help Gary to be helped.

"Help me see Zach and I'll tell you."

"For the love of god Gary how many times have i told you that ill help you?" This just caused Gary to smile wider practically jumping out of his seat with joy. As the oatmeal flew every where Gary spoke loudly "Of course he thinks about you. They don't call ya ghost for nothing."

Later that day

Simon was afraid of showing the wrong emotion at the wrong time. Especially when it came to John. He didn't know if it was love or just hormones but he felt something towards that man. But what good could it bring besides stress and drama? As Simon slowly crept into bed there was a knock on the door.

"Come in" the door open revealing a nicely arranged Mohawk that belonged to non other than John. Simon had a headache at this point and he didn't want to talk to his captain, he just wanted to sleep. "Hows it going?" His thick Scottish accent was much harsher than Simon's British one and trailed off into a ramble of absolutely nothing. Simon couldn't help but stare at him weirdly before replying "I could be better just sore, how about you?" "Im alright a bit tired. Convinced that Gary is addicted to sweets and Zach." Ghost bit his lip trying to hide the urge to kiss john. The man was just perfect.

After a moment of silence more like an awkward silence john shifted before sighing "Well I'm off to bed. Long morning ahead, sleep well Simon." John had his back to Simon so he couldn't see the smaller male open his mouth to say something. With jumbled thoughts Simon could only manage to croak something like this "Same to you John." And with that the night was cold and lonely for them both neither knowing they wanted the exact same thing.
