May I just say:
i don't own the Percy Jackson series nor am I responsible for what happens in the Titan War.
Silena shakily removed the charm from her bracelet. This was something she hated doing, but then again, she was a spy. She told herself, ever since she had made friends with Clarisse, that she would not live up to the Aphrodite kid stereotype. And the Aphrodite kid stereotype was being a wimp. Being a pet. Being loyal to the people you were raised with and breaking up with a million boys. Those were all things that Silena Beauregard most certainly did not want to be. She pricked her finger with the tiny silver scythe.
"Good day, Silena," said The Voice. Silena hated The Voice. It was sweet and sour. Familiar but evil. The voice of a friend and the voice of the Titan lord. "I have some good and bad news for you."
"Tell me."
"Not until you tell me the news from the other side."
Silena spilled out the events of the last few days- the chariot dilemma, the battle preparations, and what the campers had eaten for dinner.
"Good, good," said The Voice. "Now, first- the good news, or the bad news?"
"The good," Silena said. She always asked for the good news first.
"We will be ready to invade Manhattan in a week's time."
"Give me the bad news," Silena said.
"The Princess Andromeda has sunk. And Beckendorf is dead."
Silena felt like someone had reached into her chest and ripped out her heart. She was about to scream and then The Voice came again.
"And don't throw a drama fit, Silena, or they'll know you're my spy. Keep the drama for later."
Silena muttered her assent and yanked the charm out of her finger.
Then she grabbed the notebook from Annabeth she had sworn never to use and started planning her revenge.
How was that? Terrible? Okay? Good?
Should it have been longer?
Do you want me to write more one-shots?
