Hello future readers this is BlahBlah, and I wanted to warn you beforehand. This is a shounen ai or called slash or yaoi. this is about it… so yeah enjoy.
I smiled softly at my 'brother' as he whispered a 'thank you' to me as held me close to his chest. "you owe me big time, Char." He nodded. I couldn't even fathom what I was about to get myself into.
My Dad turned to me. "Charlotte?"
I glanced at him, I raised my voice slightly as I answered back with a simple "yes?"
"Im sorry about the divorce and forced you and Noah to split up as a result," I sniffed and sat on the edge of the bed in the cabin of the ship we boarded leaving Harmonica Town far behind us. I faced the wall and curled up into a ball. "'night Char" I nodded and huddled closer as Dad turned off the lights and climbed noisily into the bed across form mine.
"all passengers, we are about to arrive in Mineral Town port." The captain announced. I sat up groggily and swung my legs over the side and stood up. I shuffled to bathroom to take care of my needs and to comb my tangled hair. I looked over my feminine appearance. I surely confused others including my own parents, as to what gender I truly was. Dad would kill me if he realized it was me.
"YOURE WHAT?" my dad yelled.
"im gay…" I murmured afraid of what would happen to me. I knew I should've just kept quiet about this, instead of listening to Charlotte. I hugged myself as dad slumped over, his fingers digging in his hair as he quietly boiled over.
"get out…" he mumbled
"I-I'm sorry dad-"
"GET OUT NOW GOD DAMN IT!" He glared as I fled to find a place to stay, all the while glaring at charlotte.
I sighed. Perhaps pretending I was charlotte was the best, she would get royally pissed if I asked to switch back. I knew deep down how much she really hated dad and would refuse to change places again. I gathered my belongings, waiting for dad to wake up.
I fidgeted as we sat together on the horse drawn carriage. I read the sign ahead of us, Forget-Me-Not valley. The blonde glanced at us, her long locks whipped across her face.
"so you two are my new competition?" her strong voice called out.
"yeah, me and my daughter are gonna start to run that farm in Forget-Me-Not." My dad claimed proudly. She introduced herself as Claire Baker, a rival for Mineral Town. I exchanged my name, gaining an odd glance from her. The rest of the trip was relatively quiet, until we came up to a town.
From its looks Forget-Me-Not was quiet homey, and a sight to see. Cherry blossoms lined the stone paved roads, the petals a soft pink as spring was waning. I watch as we pulled up to surprisingly large plot of land that was obviously a farm. I perked up at the sight of two houses. We got off the wagon, grabbing our belongings and moved closer to the houses. We waved goodbye to Claire as she returned home after returning her favor to the mayor.
"Char, if you'd like you can have the bigger house to yourself, now that you are old enough to live on your own." I smiled back at my dad.
"thank you, I really appreciate it."
Dad handed me the keys as he carried his stuff to the small house a little ways from mine. I unlocked the house peeking inside. The owners must of moved out very recently, as there were signs of someone living there still present. I shrugged off my bag, leaving it by the door as I turned and locked it. I shut the blinds and made sure all the curtains left were closed as I shimmied out of my girly attire, changing into my pajama bottoms and matching top.
I jumped for the bed, sighing in contempt as I snuggled in the soft mattress, not bothering to grab my blanket. I quickly fell asleep. I later woke up to some loud noises. I sat up rubbing my eyes as I looked around, soon realizing the noise was from outside.
