As the sun falls a young lady looks out her window so excited. Her Birthday was just yesterday and she had gotten a pokemon for her birthday. She had just turned 13. She holds in her arms a egg, white with random colored shapes and spots. She loves this egg. "Aven." She says quietly. She had decided on this name when she first saw it wrapped in such delicate wrapping. She climbs on her bunk bed. Laying the egg down. On the bottom of the bunk is a desk, she used it for school. Now she does not have to worry about it. Everyone goes through a year of all pokemon classes and takes a test on weather to travel or continue on. She gets to travel and meet new friends. She is extremely excited about all this.
The dodrio sing there song as loud as they can. young Fern wakes up. Her short brown hair all messy. She yawns and smiles so quickly when she looked at the clock on the wall next to her. 7am. She jumps down getting dressed and packing up whatever she can. "Fern? Honey?" Her mother calls for her. Fern grabbed her egg and her black hat running down the stairs. "morning mom." she pants. Her mother chuckles so happily. Fern's blue eyes show the most out of her brown vest and black long sleeved shirt. Her pants long and looking a little saggy. Her belt slanting on her hips. "you look wonderful honey. Now come on, lets get you a pokedex." her mother gleefully says hiding on how worried she is.
Fern was so excited but she quickly found out how worried her mother is. Checking her pack before they leave and putting in extra food and stuff. It made her bag heavier but she took it in. She too was scared but willing as well. They walked to a school, her school. Westwood middle. There are others as well, 10 to be exact. She saw her best friend, Henaru. "Naru!!" Fern yells and waves. Naru has long hair, she puts it up in a ponytail. With black hair and red streaks on the side she looks wonderful and ready to go. She keeps a bag on her side. "hey Fern." she giggles. Fern ran to her friend, "You know what your getting?"
"no, I was going to pick up my egg today. looks like you got it first."
"I got it for my birthday, I don't know what it is but its name is Aven."
"Named it already? wow." Naru giggles. Her mother crying to Fern's mother. Naru giggles, "she almost made me late this morning." She sighs shaking her head. Fern giggles. "yeah mine too, They seem so worried. Were going to have friends so I think they have nothing to worry about."
"oooh I can't wait! I so want to battle you. you think we should travel together?"
"no. I mean I want to try this on my own. I want to see what it is like." Naru can see the seriousness in her eyes. NAru sighs though, "how about until we both have our first battle?"
"you mean when they hatch? I'm not so sure...." Fern hesitates. Naru whimpers and begs. "please?! I'm scared, I don't want to go alone just yet. Not until my pokemon have truly hatched."
Naru took a moment to think. She looks at Naru and sighs. She too is scared but really wanted to try. "okay." she whispers. Naru cheers and they hug.
