Prologue - Pilot (Exile)
It had been 3 years since he had last seen Tyler. It was 2 since he faced his killer. It was also 2 since he came to this world.
Leon Smith had been taken away from his world when he was shot to death by the gang leader who killed his best friend Tyler. He remembered the peppering of bullets being sprayed into his chest after running at the leader with a barbed chain. He had managed to get a few cuts on Mark before the coward called in his crew for reinforcements. He had taken down 2 of 15 before finally succumbing to his wounds. His last thoughts in that moment were that he didn't want things to end like this...
A few days later, Leon had awoken in what looked like a Japanese apartment with a paid room. Lookin around confused, he began to feel his chest. He could not feel his bullet wounds. This was the day he found new life.
[Present...]
"Leon, wake up!" a female voice called out to him.
"Give me another 500 years..." he grumbled in his sleep.
"What are you, Leon? Immortal?! Get up already!" she shouted before lightly punching him on the top of his head.
"Gah! I'm up, I'm up! Dammit, Haruhi, that was kinda harsh..." he complained as he held the top of his head, rubbing the sore spot while poking his tongue out at her.
"Ranka may accept your laziness, but not me! We're going to school, remember? You and me both got scholarships. You shouldn't be late for the first day."
Moving through the quiet halls felt unnerving in the overly large Ouran Academy. Leon had voiced this but immediately was told to just accept it by Haruhi. Their relationship was that of almost familial bonding. He held no ill will towards her, but her somewhat bossy attitude sort of got to him at times. She liked him too, but she had to keep his temper in check and stop him being so uncaring about everything. This was their relationship; they both had losses, and they helped each other to heal. He helped her deal with losing her mother, and she helped him deal with Tyler's unfair death.
