Could He Really Save Her?

Who'd have thought that I would be helping a kidnapped woman? Not me that's for sure. But was I really the best person for the job? Would I be able to save her before she and her family were killed?
I couldn't save her son. It was hard to tell Jessica that they actually took him. I could hear her crying through the phone, it's so heart wrenching. And Ricky's face as he was taken...man it's probably worse once he got in the car. He probably already knew something happened to his mother since it's her car.
And her husband...that was major bad luck on my part. I should have asked that guys name before feeling like I won against the corrupt cops. Dammit! I'm trying too hard and I keep failing! How am I to save Jessica and her family if nothing comes out right?!
"I don't know...I just don't know," I whispered.
"Ryan, what don't you know?" Jessica, the woman who was kidnapped, asked.
"I don't know if I will be able to save you? I couldn't save your son and now I couldn't save your husband!" I confessed to her.
"It's not your fault. You did the best you could and you will save us. There's no one who could do otherwise."
"But-"
"No buts, I believe in you and I know you can do it," Jessica encouraged. Her encouragement helped him. He knew he failed in saving her son and husband, but dammit if he wasn't going to save her. Her family was alive but for how long? How long would they live before their kidnappers got what they wanted? Not long I bet.
Yes, I will save them and they will live!

AN: So this was a little insight into Ryan's head during Cellular. Honestly, I wrote it in five minutes. I will probably write another one but I just wanted to get the Cellular category up so I did a quick story for it. ;) Please review! Honest criticism and if you find any errors, please tell me!
