One of the disciples asked a question.
"Master, Why can the evil one not repent and not turn away from his sins and come to the Heavenly Father?"
The Heavenly Son paused and looked his disciple in the eye.
"The evil one is full of pride. He can repent but his pride stops him. He knows he is wrong and yet he will do all he can to prove right. He thinks only of his own wants and desires even to the destruction of others. There one time was a time where he was beautiful. He was the brightest light in heaven. Yet he was envious and wanted to be in charge. In his desire to do that he destroyed the entire design that the Heavenly Father set up for us. That is why he cannot repent. His pride will not allow him to accept that he needs to repent. The Father has blinded him to his need to repent because his pride was so that it caused his root to become bitter."
"Then I have a follow up question. Is there anything we can do to make things right?"
"We can guide. We can direct. We can instruct. We can intervene through prayer but for every one of The Father's creations He has given free will. Thus the creation of the heavenly Father may decide on his own accord to turn to the Father if they have fallen away. We however cannot repent for them. We cannot turn to the Father on THEIR behalf. Instead we have to instruct, correct protect and direct."
"How do we do all that," another disciple asked.
"Well let's take that one question at a time. How do we instruct? If you are one who gives lessons what do you do. You instruct. You lead by example. You teach by experience. You teach with sight sound taste touch and feel. You let a person know what is expected of them. You can do that if you are asked a question. For instance let us suppose that the lost one comes up and says HOW DO I GET RIGHT WITH MY HEAVENLY CREATOR. We instruct by telling them what it is they must do to get right with Him. How do we correct? We do so lovingly. Let us continue with the example. Suppose this same one who asked us the question has repented of his sins by saying "I'm sorry" but then goes and repeats the same sin again. Suppose it is not a weakness but they are doing it maliciously. We say to them 'what you are doing is not repentance. You have taken the first step to repentance by apologizing for your sin but true repentance shows a change of heart not just some pretty words". It may not and will not be what they want to hear but they need to hear it. We can also correct physically and by that I do not mean striking another person. Suppose you see a little child heading for a place of danger. You pick the child up (physical correction) and let her know that she is not to do what she is doing again. That would be the verbal correction. How do we protect? We bind up what can harm us and those around us. That will show that we mean business and the enemies cannot harm us because the Father is on our side. Finally how do we direct. We tell them where to go. If someone is trying to lead us wrong we say "I'm not following you but you follow me" and if they do we show them the way"
