Lily walked the Hogwarts Halls alone. She hated Thursdays. Her best friends, Marlene McKinnon, Alice Prewett, and Emmeline Vance, were in none of her classes. The only person she knew in her classes was that arrogant toe rag, James Potter. Since she was alone for the day, he insisted on walking with her and sitting next to her in every class they had together; which happened to be all of them. She was thinking about his strange absence when a familiar pair of big hands clapped her on the shoulders. "Hello Evans. How are you this fine Thursday?" James asked, trying to casually put his arm around her shoulders. "Hello, Potter. It's going fine and yours?" she responded whilst removing his arm rather roughly. People obviously saw them and cat calls rung through the hallway. James smirked. Lily blushed. People laughed. It was a mess. "Evans?" James asked, still smirking from all of this attention they were getting. "I think they want a kiss." "No. Flat-out. Absolutely No." she replied immediately. Suddenly, Lily was pushed forward and into James' arms. He caught her easily and but was pushed forward as well. Then it happened. They kissed. James began to kiss her and was surprised when Lily began to kiss him back. Then the real cat calls started. But this time, they sounded all too familiar. James reluctantly stopped and looked around, behind him he saw Remus smiling and behind Lily he saw Sirius. Peter was still cat calling. They had pushed them together. Those sly Marauders. He would thank them for it later. He looked back at Lily, still in his arms. She was blushing! Did she actually like it? Of course she liked it; she kissed him back! He cracked a smile and she looked up at him, smiled and said, "James" That's all he needed to hear.
