He grabbed her and pulled her into the black ally, she screamed as loud as she could before the hand slid across her face, leaving her red and breathless.

"Help!" She managed to peep out, knowing she was defeated.

Out of nowhere he took a step back, taking a look as his newly found prize.

"Well, well, doc's wife a charm in-nit? Not a mark on ya, 'erfect peach." He grabbed her by the waist and pressed himself to her backing her up to the cold brick wall.

"Let me go!" She grabbed the piece of pipe sitting on the ledge and hit the large man in the head.

"You foul 'oman! You'll pay fer this!" She slipped his grip and ran out of the ally, leaving her shoes behind. This snowy night no one was out on the dock roads, all in the warmth of their homes and flats; It was Christmas eve and no one was going out.

She ran past Sister Julienne on her bike not even seeing her, she only thinking about the man chasing after her.

"Shelagh!" She called, looking down and seeing the blood in the snow from her torn up feet. She new running by the water was risky, but it was the only way to safety. The Police station was only one street ahead, she was almost to safety when…

Bang.

"SHE-LAGH!" Sister Julienne yelled, falling to her knees and collapsing.

The gun was fired and Shelagh lurched forward hitting the rail and falling into the water, feeling the bullet shred through her chest. She sank into the water, paralyzed and slowly drifting away.

Shelagh shot strait up and screamed, trashing around and grabbing her chest.

"Shelagh it's okay! It was only a nightmare!" Shelagh tried to fight and hit Patrick, unaware that it was him. He grabbed her wrists and spoke the simple words that he knew would calm her.

"Are you certain?" Shelagh took a deep breath and relaxed.

"I'm completely certain."
