At the old harbor at the edge of the town, there stood a single girl staring out to the wide ocean. She wore a beige cloak over her shoulders and held something close to her chest. It was a small bottle, with a piece of paper inside. The blonde haired girl looked up as a flash back hit her.

Last year, she had been here. At this exact spot with the one who cared the most about her, her dear brother and servant. He stood in the water as he placed something in it, watching it bob away slowly. The girl crossed her arms and stated. "Honestly, you've been here every day. What's so special about this place?" The servant turned to his princess and softly said. "Remember? This is the place with the legend. Those who place their wishes here will have them granted." The princess continued to pout as he held his hand out. "Would my lady like to try?" The girl looked to him and said. "I won't do something that seems so false." The boy sighed but she soon smiled, saying cheerfully. "…I mean, won't all my wishes be granted by you, Len?" Len's eyes widened slightly as he too smiled. "Right, my lady."

The girl felt tears run down her face as she walked closer to the water. "He…who is no longer here…" She whispered as she took off her shoes, walking in the cold, ocean water. A faint memory passed through her mind of her brother taking her place as the princess and getting executed, leaving the real princess alive.

Len held his sobbing sister as he heard the angry townspeople grow closer to her chambers. "Rin, change into my clothes and escape." Rin shook her head and cried. "B..But you'll be killed!" Len took out one of Rin's dresses and changed into it. "Don't worry, no one will notice. We're twins." Rin now wore Len's clothes and began to put her hair in a pony-tail. Her tears stained her cheeks as her brother kissed her forehead. "I promised to protect you." He locked her in the closet, before being dragged out of the room by the hands of the citizens. He was soon executed. Everyone was silent except Rin. She screamed from the fear and fell to her knees as everyone left. The daughter of evil was now dead.

Rin dropped the bottle in the water and said. "Take…my wish." The bottle floated away and a faint smile grew on her face, but it soon died off as more tears fell from her face. She fell to her knees in the water and repeated. "I'm…sorry. I'm..sorry. I'm sorry!" She cried out. Rin weakly held her hands up to her face and yelled. "God! Please…forgive my sins." She sniffled forced out a whisper. "If I could be…reborn…" An image of Len appeared next to her and said. "It'd be wonderful if we were to be born as twins again." The sun began to set and Rin gasped, her eyes were wide. The image faded and she slowly stood up. She wiped her tears, for she heard his calm voice again. "Yes…That would be wonderful." She said softly. The princess looked up to the sky and left, the slight regret followed the message.

In a lab, a girl android opened her eyes and stated. "Rin Kagamine, now activated." The scientist smiled. "Good, do you know your name well?" Rin nodded softly. The man chuckled and led her to the other room. "That's great. I want you to meet someone." A boy android was in there and he smiled, saying. "Hello, my lady." Rin's eyes widened as the scientist said. "This is our other robot. His name is…" A single tear fell from her right eye as she whispered. "My wish…and a slight regret." The boy held up a paper and it faded away. It was Rin's final wish. All it said was. "If I could be born again…I wish to be with Len once more."
