Please review! Just a one shot!
Hermione had to hide her feelings. She was due to marry Ron in less than an hour. But her mind couldn't forget the moment she found out.

She was sitting at home waiting for him to come for her so they could run away together. As time wore on she began to realise that he wasn't coming. He should have arrived long ago. He had decided she wasn't worth it.
Then her phone rang.
She answered it. It was Ron.
"Hermione you won't believe what's just happened!" he said.
"What's happened Ronald?" asked Hermione bored.
"Blaise Zabini has just been killed in a car crash."

The memory of the phone call haunted her. She often woke, screaming from nightmares of that call. She thought back to how their relationship started.

"Malfoy you're an arrogant jerk!" she shouted at him. Her voice echoed through empty hallway. Suddenly his lips crushed hers. She melted into him. He pulled away.
"Still a jerk." She replied smiling.

And now here she sat in her wedding dress about to marry someone she had never loved. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." she said thinking it must be Ginny or Fleur.
It was Pansy Parkinson.
"What do you want?" spat Hermione, venom in her voice.
"I have letter for you. From Blaise."
"How?"
"He left it with me just before he died saying that should anything happen to him to give it to you." She said. She left the letter on the table before walking out the door.
Hermione lifted the letter. She opened the seal. She dropped the letter when Ginny walked in.
"Open it." She whispered. Hermione remembered how Ginny had always felt about Blaise. It was one of the reason's they were going to run away together. So she wouldn't have to see the hurt in Ginny's eyes.
"How did you know?"
"I've known for a long time. From before he died."
"I can't read it." Whispered Hermione. Ginny held out her hand for it. Hermione handed it to her and she took it out and unfolded it. She began, her hands shaking:
"Dearest Hermione,
If you are reading this it means I am dead. I beg you not to grieve for me. I'm not worth it. I want you to know how much I love you. You were the light of my days. I love you more than you could ever imagine.
Never forget that.

To name just a few.
(There were tears rolling down both girls cheeks by now)

After a while Hermione was ready. She left the letter on the table and walked away. She continued walking until she reached Ron at the end of the aisle. And there she married someone who was not the love of her life.
