She leans over the counter top to get a closer look at her face, meticulously finishing off her eye makeup as a part of her morning routine.
"Your eyes look good today," he says, and she barely stops to think about it. She's gotten used to his pesky feminine side - after all, the sound of his hair dryer wakes her up every morning.
"Thanks . . ." she mutters absently, continuing to battle off her fatigue and cleanly apply silver eyeshadow to the lid of one emerald eye.
"Why no blue today?" He's lazily questioning her from where he remains in his bed - their bed; she was still not used to waking up next to the same person two mornings in a row, let alone two months. And a man, at that.
She sighs, choosing to humor him. "Blue doesn't match today. Would you wear a teal tie with a navy suit?" Then, remembering who she's talking to, "Don't answer that. I don't even want to know if you own a teal tie."
He smiles softly, and speaks again. "Then why-"
She sighs heavily, finally turning to face him instead of addressing his mirrored reflection. "James, you're harassing me because you're bored. Go back to bed. It's not my fault you have the flu," she picks up her bag and psychosomatically checks her appearance once more before heading for the door, off to work without him.
"Actually, you had it first," he counters, pausing to cough as she raises a slender eyebrow provocatively, "and if anyone gave me the flu, I'd be willing to guess it was you."
She shakes her head softly and gives him a final smile before exiting the still unfamiliar apartment.
But she's getting used to it.

A/N: As a general rule, I'm pretty sure that my mind has placed every female on the show with Wilson and accepted it as a good pairing. I like him and Thirteen, though, for a bunch of reasons.
For one thing, she's quite the House/Cam love child, and I do love to stick Wilson with both of them. Secondly, I usually consider people with terminal diseases to be needy.
Besides that, I really don't know why people seem to dislike her so much, she's probably one of my favorite characters . . . she actually reminds me of myself. Hah. Wow. If that wasn't a typically narcissistic thing to say . . . Well, hopefully everyone knows what I mean.
This is probably the pairing that I'd love to see more of, right behind Hameron, of course. Because you can never have too much Hameron.
Okay, that's it! I don't own anything.
