Hey, people! So thanks for clicking on this story, and stuff. This is just an idea I had running around in my head for a loooooong time… like at least a couple of months. It's like a songfic, I guess.
Disclaimer: If I owned Percy Jackson, it would suck because I am not a creative genius like Rick.
WARNING! Depressing, major character deaths, tears, sadness, heart-wrenching moments of pure awful, HOPE YOU ENJOY!
Any grammar errors are intentional.
Last thing, I promise. I strongly recommend listening to the song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion while reading this. It makes it seem more real.
Annabeth
They are in Athens. They are in Athens and everything is amazing, a sure indication to her that everything will go wrong, go wrong eventually because they have been pawns their whole lives, pawns on the chessboard.
They are nothing but pieces of marble and the only difference is that they have hearts, they have lives, they have friends and boyfriends and happy moments and sad moments and ups and downs and there's so much she wants to say but it's all fading away
Fading away
Fading away
They are fighting a giant, the fight is getting harder
And tougher
And she can't take it anymore…
But then she looks over at Percy…
He's fighting, fighting hard and he has that hardness in his eyes, like chips of emerald. Hard. Sturdy. Reliable.
She lived in California, he in New York, but somehow they worked it out. Because they will always be together.
He'd slipped past her defenses, her walls. She hadn't had any doors in those walls to let anyone in, because she'd been hurt too many times, so he made his own door. He opened it and let himself into her heart, where they will both live forever…
Her heart softens, thinking of all the times they shared together…Together, together, together, touched by love
And she loves him
She will always love him
The giant's getting closer to her, closer closer closer closer closer closer
And Percy is losing too…
But he will never lose her.
She sees the spear go into his back and come out, sees him lose the light in his eyes. Someone screams, maybe her…She runs over and
no
no
no
no
no
no
no
no
no
Percy you can't die you can't die
She says
To him
Loving him
Always
And she feels something happen to her back, and why is her chest sprouting metal and her head spins
so dizzy
and she lies down
she doesn't remember doing that
then she sees Percy
his face
scared
but they're both alive
for now
and they will be together even in death
even in life
She wraps her arms around him
They will be buried like this…
Forever
She let him into her heart, and he'll be safe there, in her everlasting memory and love
Safe
They both will be.
She sees his beautiful sea-green eyes one last time before she closes hers and
Nothing.

I really want to see if this is good, because it turned out different than what I thought it would be like. Oh well.
