People think i'm a normal human being, well that isn't true. My great-grandfather was a monster who didn't make it to Ebott after the war, instead he found refuge on the surface. He was taken in by a lovely woman and (By now you can see where this is going) they settled down and blah blah blah you get it, They had kid, they grew up found love and had a kid, (AKA My dad), He grew up found love and they had me... anyway where was I... Oh yes! My father died a year ago and my mother insisted I traveled up to Ebott to be with 'my' kind. So i traveled up Ebott and found a hole, and I decided to jump in... My name is Connor and this is my story of how I found my way home. ( Note- my character has brown hair and eyes, wears the same clothes as Frisk but has a necklace with 2 dragons entwined on it.)

201X,The Underground.

I woke up on a bed of flowers, looking around I see some destroyed pillars scattered around the room, lucky i didn't fall on them. I slowly get up and check if I have any cuts or broken bones, to find nothing wrong with me. I start heading down the corridor in front of me. I reach the end to find a room with a lonely flower in the center. I slowly make my way towards him, stopping 2 feet in front of him, he then looks at me.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower! Hmm... Your new to the Underground aren't you?" He says as I look at him a bit confused " Golly, You must be so ought to teach you how things work down here. I guess little old me will have to do. Ready? Here we go!" He continues and we enter a battle, but he is confused as he sees no heart.

"Hey! Where is your heart?" He says as he looks around cautiously.

"I cannot show you it but if it helps, i would like you do damage me" I finally say as he looks at me, surprised

" Wait. You want me to damage you?" He replies and I nod. His face goes demonic as he says " Well, if you insist." he continues as he summons white pellets and fires them at me. They hit me directly in the chest, a green bar appearing and depleting to about 1/3, with the numbers 15 above it. My necklace glows red for a second before returning to normal.

"Y-Your a monster? B-but how?" He stutters as I drop to one knee.

"My great-grandfather survived the war but wasn't forced into Ebott. Instead, he ran away from the humans and sought refuge on the surface. He found a wife and had my grandfather and so on and so forth. Then I was born and I decided when I was older that I was going to find the rest of my kind. Also because my father died a year ago and my mom wanted me to do this anyway." I say as I get back up and disengage from the battle, walking past him. "OH! By the way, a human is going to fall into the Underground in a couple of minutes, I saw them following me up the mountain, so, good luck!" I say as I walk through the door, leaving Flowey absolutely gobsmacked.

As i make my way through the next few rooms, i come across a number of different traps/ puzzles. Some of them were easy while some of them were harder. After a couple of minutes of making my way through traps i come across one with a floor of spikes. Just as i was about to attempt it, i hear footstep coming from the other side. A couple of seconds later, a goat lady comes into view. She looks at me in utter shock. She makes her way across the spikes in a weird route turning left and right at certain points. She finally makes her was across the spikes and towards me, stopping a foot in front of me.

"Hello my child, I did not expect you to get this far on your own." She says as I look up at her

"Well, I was determined to give it a try but i did not expect to meet you here" I reply "Oh and there is a human that has fallen at the start of this place, and probably about to be on trouble, don't worry, I'll stay here until you get back and i'll answer any questions you would like to ask" I continue as she look at me with wide eyes.

"W-well if that is the case, i'll be back in a moment" She says as she rushes down the hallway, towards the start. It took around 10 minutes for her to get back with the human in tow. She tells us to follow her and she tells me that this place is called the RUINS.

"So, what is your name?" she asks me as we walk down a hallway.

"My name is Connor, and i'm not a human, I have a monster SOUL" I reply. She stops dead in her tracks and turns to me.

"How? How is that possible?" She asks. I tell the story of my great-grandfather and end on me traveling here. By the end of it, both her and the human look shocked.

"So the flower I shot a fire ball was shocked at you being a monster as well?" She says. I nod and hold onto my necklace, now glowing green. My heath bar appears and it starts to refill. After a minute of healing, it is fully replenished. We start heading off again, going through various puzzles and traps. After another 20 minutes we finally reach her human said that her name was Toriel. I asked if they knew Asgore and they said they did. I saw that it was a touchy subject so i didn't bring it up anymore. She showed us our room, it was cozy and the wardrobe was filled with stripped shirts. Frisk want to sleep and I left the room and headed to the living room.

I saw Toriel reading a book in her chair, i decided to go to the book shelf and see what books she had. I finally found one that explained the history of the monsters. Including some stuff from the war, like Asgore and someone called Grillby. He was supposedly a fire elemental, having a big influence on the war. It also went on about the royal scientist, his name was W.D. Gaster, one the most intelligent monsters of all. After I read that, I put the book back and looked at my necklace, it was glowing a light blue and I felt weird but I also felt calm. I looked up to see Toriel coming out of the kitchen with two plates of pie. She handed one to me and said that it was butterscotch and cinnamon. She walked past and entered Frisk's room. She came out a second later and returning to her book. I ate the pie and took the plate through to the kitchen, placing it next to the sink. I went back through to the living room and got another book. After a couple of hours of reading books, ( boring right?) Frisk walks into the living room, Toriel talks about wanting to be a teacher. Frisk asks when they could go home, Toriel tries to persuade them that this is their home now but it doesn't work, Frisk keeps persisting and Toriel says that she has to do something and she walks away, Frisk follows and I follow shortly after...

Well, that is the first chapter of this story. Like my other story A 9th human, I don't know where this story is going to go, i'll probably going to make this a pacifist story... I don't know. Anyway, if you have any idea's for the story, let me know and i might add them.
