Di looked up from her laptop, shadeless orange eyes meeting forest green with a one-sided glare. "Okay, what did I do this time?" She asked, raising a brow. "You forgot to do the bloody dishes again! And you can't give me the excuse of doing things, when you don't even tell me what things they are!" Jake snapped, only intensifying his glare.
"Perhaps a more polite reminder would have been helpful. You know I don't have very great memory." She returned, closing the top of her laptop as she said. "Yes, I know you have bad memory. But after six months, you should have remembered a few things." He shot back, his look softening. "Yeah, well, maybe its just laziness. But I'm just getting my shit pulled together, finals are kicking my ass right now." She said, setting her laptop aside.
Jake was her boyfriend, and she moved in with him a few months ago, as mentioned. She was a Senior in High School, and he finished school the year previous. She was right in the middle of finals, so she really spent most of her time studying. Or talking to her brother, Dave.
He was still at the house living with Bro and D, their older brothers and legal guardians. But for all she knew, he was moving in with his boyfriend, John. D might move somewhere else, or stay so Bro didn't have to be an empty-nester. Honestly, she didn't know. Or give a shit. She was too caught up in her own stuff to pay much attention to tiny detail.
