"Just hang in there Weiss, a med team is on their way." Ruby said as she cradled Weiss in her arms. Weiss grunted as she held her side, blood covering most of her dress.
"Just get out of here you dolt." Weiss said.
Ruby shook her head, "I'm not leaving you." she said.
"That pink haired girl will be back to finish the job." Weiss struggled to say.
"Then I'll fight her." Ruby said.
"Yang and I didn't stand a chance against her. You have to go," Weiss said, glaring at Ruby.
Ruby shook her head, looking around the ruined cafeteria. It had happened all so suddenly. Three students that Ruby considered friends have turned out to be the non-other than the ones her team were looking for. They had somehow led Grimm into the city and attacked the school with a large army of White Fang.
"I'm not leaving you Weiss." Ruby said again.
"Dammit Ruby you have to get out of here!" Weiss snapped, "Please." she said, shedding a tear.
"I-I don't want to lose you to." Ruby said, tears forming in her eyes.
"I-I'm afraid it's too late." Weiss said, "Please just go."
A sudden explosion rocked outside the cafeteria, the sound of students and White Fang fighting could be heard.
"Weiss..." Ruby said.
Weiss smiled at her, "I'm proud of the leader you've become. I'm proud to call you my partner and... my best friend." she said weakly.
"Please... don't go." Ruby said.
Weiss closed her eyes, her breathing becoming heavy. And then nothing.
"Weiss... Weiss! Don't leave me! No!" Ruby cried out, holding Weiss' lifeless body close to her.
The sound of footsteps could be heard nearby. Ruby looked up, her face changing to one of pure anger. It was her, the girl who had done this to her. The girl with the pink hair.
