Time After Time
Summary-co-write with American-Heart101. Before Sasuke's life went downhill, he had two friends, Yumi and Hikari. They were always there for him until they left suddenly. Five years later, Yumi and Hikari return but how come Sasuke doesn't remember them?
CHAPTER ONE
"Mommy! Me and Hikari are going outside to play!" eight-year-old Yumi Amaterasu shouted to her mother as she and her sister walked outside of their home. Yumi has jet black hair that went down to her shoulders and bangs went down just above her fiery red eyes. Yumi's six-and-a-half-year-old sister, Hikari Amaterasu, has shoulder-length moonlight silver hair and fiery red eyes. The two of them were very close and even though there was a two year age difference between the two of them, Hikari and Yumi acted like they were twins.
"Munchkin, go get the ball from the garage." Yumi said using her nickname for her sister.
"Okay Monster." Hikari said, using her nickname for Yumi. She ran into their garage and returned with a red, rubber kickball.
"Throw it to me!" Yumi shouted when Hikari got back. She threw the ball to her sister, who backed up so she could catch it. When she went to catch the ball and she bumped into someone and they both fell. A boy with dark blue hair and eyes dark as the midnight sky eyes was laying next to Yumi on the ground.
"I'm sorry that I bumped into you." Yumi said rubbing her head.
"Watch were your going!" He shouted.
"Why don't you watch where you're going!" Yumi spat back. The boy rolled his eyes and Yumi crossed her arms across her chest and glared at him.
"Who's he?" Hikari asked running over.
"Some jerk boy." Yumi muttered.
The boy rolled his eyes and turned to Hikari. "I'm Sasuke and you are…"
"Hikari Amaterasu." she said sticking out her hand, which Sasuke shook. "I'm six and a half years old. She's Yumi, my sister. She just turned eight. How old are you?"
"Eight." Sasuke said. "Did you guys just move here or something? I've never seen you around until today when your sister body-checked me." Hikari laughed and even Yumi smiled a little.
"We moved her about a week ago." Yumi said. "From The Water Village."
"Is that far from The Leaf Village?" Sasuke asked, cocking his head to the side.
"It's not that far I don't think." Yumi replied.
"Are you guys going to start going to the school?" Sasuke asked.
"Yeah! Im going but Yumi doesn't go she's to young." Hikari anwsered.
"Girls! Come inside!" their mother called from inside their house.
"Well, we gotta go. Catch you on the flip side." Yumi said and stuck out her fist. Sasuke looked at it and smiled.
"You know it." he replied, bumping knuckles with her. The Amaterasu girls smiled and ran inside their house.
