I know this doesn't really deserve a sequel, but I felt so bad that I had to. I'm such a good person...

As Dragunov stomped down the sidewalk, he couldn't help but feel... funny. It was a feeling he had long supressed: remorse. Sure Xiaoyu was annoying, but she was a girl; not to mention quite younger than him. Dragunov suddenly felt like slapping himself for being so unprofessional. Deciding he needed to make things right, Dragunov made his way back to the bench.

On his way back to the bench, he noticed a vendor set up on the side of the road that seemed to be selling gift-like items. He squinted his eyes and read the sign:

GANRYU'S GOOD KARMA SHOP: PUT THE UNIVERSE BACK IN BALANCE!

Dragunov approached the vendor, browsing the inventory.

"So what did you do?" Ganryu asked him, eyes wide. Dragunov didn't even look at him.

"Did you insult your parents? Walk past a homeless man without giving him a moment of your time? Fire an employee who badly needed that job? Make a girl cry?"

Dragunov looked up at Ganryu, who had his eyebrow raised. Dragunov gave him a nod of agreement.

"Then you'll want one of these. Works all the time!"

Ganryu pointed to an assortment of cute looking stuffed animals: there were kittens, bunnies, penguins, and bears. Dragunov put his hand to his chin: he seemed to recall Xiaoyu having a thing for bears.

Finally Dragunov pointed to a pink stuffed bear covered in hearts, all the while trying not to throw up from the cuteness.

"Good choice my friend! That'll be 15."

Dragunov grunted in annoyance at the price, but paid the desperate Sumo wrestler anyway. As he walked away, Ganryu shouted "the universe smiles upon you!"

Dragunov made his way back to the bench, stuffed bear in hand. Sure enough, Xiaoyu was still there, crying. Some people were sitting around taking pictures and recording, but most had already left the scene.

Dragunov approached the crying girl and, before she had a chance to notice him, dropped the stuffed bear right in front of her. Xiaoyu looked up at the bear, and then at Dragunov, who was standing with his arms folded, not even looking at her.

"Draggy?" Xiaoyu asked between sobs. She finally sniffled a few times and wiped her eyes, then grabbed the bear and stood up.

"Thanks Draggy!" Xiaoyu said with a smile. "Um, I'm sorry I pestered you. Do you forgive me?"

Dragunov took a deep breath and a gulp or two. Then, when his pride was finally swallowed, he turned around and threw his arms around the girl and squeezed her tightly. Xiaoyu threw her arms around Dragunov and returned the favor with a squeeze of her own. Everyone who was recording let out an "Awwww" and some people were even in tears.

Dragunov finally broke the hug and, after patting Xiaoyu's cheek, he turned around and walked off with his hands behind his back.

"Bye Draggy!" Xiaoyu yelled, almost as if she was never sad at all. She looked at her bear and gave it a squeeze.

As he walked down the sidewalk, Dragunov hummed his favorite song; he was feeling 100% better about himself.
