Race: Half dog demon, just like InuYasha
History: Her mother was a powerful demon who fell in love with a human man, Years of their secret relationship went on and soon she were born after her mother got the child she always wanted she killed her father, than murdered herself for killing her loved one. She met InuYasha on her 16th birthday and both of them became quick friends. Soon she had joined his gang in finding the jewel shards although she was happy enough with being a half demon.

::..STORY START..::
"IIIIINNNNUUUUYYYYYYAAAASSSSSHHHAAAA GET BACK HERE NOW!!" Akaira screamed running behind her friend with some food in her hands.
"I'm not eating that Akaira!!" he yelled back
She growled and started running full speed when her best friend Kagome stood in front of InuYasha.
"InuYasha…SIT!" she screamed as he collapsed on the ground instantly. Akaira caught up and bent down in front of him.
"Open." She ordered
"It's probably poison." He mumbled. She took this chance and shoved the food in his mouth. InuYasha chewed for a second then swallowed. He slowly looked back at his friend
"I'm not dead," he reported, she smiled taking that as 'it was good'
How this all started? Kagome was teaching Akaira to cook and when she thought she had done it she wanted everyone in the gang to taste it, but only InuYasha refused saying she was trying to poison him.
"Thank you, damn always has to be so damn hard headed." She said hitting him with the plate.
"Ow, THAT HURT AKAIRA!" he yelled after her.
"It probably did, but that's what you get smart ass." She countered with a smirk. She heard InuYasha growl as Kagome let him get up. Suddenly she was tackled by InuYasha. She sat up and turned to him, eyes on fire.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" she screamed
"Akaira, Watch out!" it was Kagome's voice now. She turned to see a couple of demons coming for her. She flipped back and removed her large fans. These she crafted with the blood of her mother and father. She ran at the demons head on InuYasha by her side. They destroyed all the demons in their path within in seconds. When a jewel shard dropped out, she picked it up and turned.
"Just two more pieces and we have them all."
Months went by and the last two jewel shards were getting impossible to find, demon after demon didn't contain one, and Kagome didn't sense any. It was all getting frustrating, that night Akaira made dinner knowing everyone would soon be hungry as she finished everyone grabbed a plate and ate. Dinner ended and they all lay in a circle Kagome, Sango, Kirara, Miroku and Shippo sleeping leaving the half demons. Akaira, watching the night sky, InuYasha, deep in thought.
"Akaira, Are you still awake?" he asked, she hm'd her reply
"Can we talk for a while, I can't sleep and everyone else is asleep." He said stating the obvious; she turned a light pink and answered
"Yes, I can't sleep either." Was her soft-voiced reply
"C'mon let's take a walk so we don't walk anyone." He suggested she agreed and rose to her feet. As they walked they were silent, just enjoying the company and the stars
"InuYasha, I think I'm in love with you." She said finally finding the courage.
"I do too," he mumbled
"You do too what?" she asked now confused
"I love you." He stated simply jumping into a tree. She followed.
"I love you too" was all she could say.
He pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her as she laid back into his chest.
"About time you told me," he smirked
She said nothing and kissed him.
"Your ruining the moment." She stated leaving her boyfriend speechless, this made her smile. She looked up toward heaven
'Thank You…mother.' She thought as they watched the sky.
