A/n: Hi there! This is my first Harry Potter fan fic that I did by myself. This is the corrected version of my poem that can be found on my friend Elixia message board site Severus Snape's Dungeons @ www. ezboard.com.
I'm also working on another Harry Potter round robin fic that response to Severitus ' challenge called Shining Light Dark Night along with Nell ( goes by author pen name nell and nell-and-paur) and Magicmayhem.

HIS MOTHER'S EYES

He has his mother's eyes which cause my heart to break when
I look into his brillent green eyes that are usely innocent and kind
mixed with pain and sorrow.
How it hurts me to look into his eyes and yell at him or insult him
And his father for his eyes flash with anger and hate that nearly
Kills me for I don't really hate him nor do I want him to hate me
He doesn't know he can hurt me for just looking full of anger
and hate along with pain, sorrow, and fear.
For it will kill me one of these days just because he has
his mother's eyes.
