Alright, because of people (2 to be exact) asking me to expand my other one, this is a sequel to 'She Will be Loved'. Disclaimer-I don't own the song (again. It's the only way I can write love stories.) or the characters.
Do you realize that you have the most beautiful face?
Do you realize we're floating in space?
Do you realize that happiness makes you cry?
Do you realize that everyone you know someday will die?
It was the first day of summer. Luckily, it was also a time when Meggie would come back. Farid waited next to the phone. The loud ring broke through the peaceful silence in his small hotel room. Diving for the phone, Farid grabbed the handle and twisted the cord around himself. A monotone computer voice floated from the receiver, "Are you aware of the big saleā¦" It dragged on. Farid slammed the phone down and hung up. As soon as he untangled the cord from around him, the phone rang again. This time, an excited voice tickled his ear and a grin filled his face from ear to ear.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes,
Let them know that life goes fast.
It's hard to make the good things last.
You realize the sun doesn't go down,
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning 'round.
Summer is wonderful, but cruel. In a flash, Meggie and Farid had wasted their summer away, spending every last minute together. As the first day was wonderful, Farid wanted to make the last day special too. He grabbed the huge basket of food and drove to Elinor's house. Meggie was there. She was beautiful and every time Farid looked at her he was overcome by how amazing she was.
Do you realize, ooh?
Do you realize that everyone you know someday will die?
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes,
Let them know that life goes fast.
It's hard to make the good things last.
You realize the sun doesn't go down,
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning 'round.
Farid parked the car and together they walked up the hill to watch the sunset. It was perfect, until reality struck. Tomorrow, Meggie was leaving. Tomorrow, summer would end. But that didn't matter. Meggie moved closer and rested her head on Farid's chest. He embraced her and the moment seemed like it wouldn't end. At least, they only hoped it wouldn't.
Do you realize that you have the most beautiful face?
Do you realize?
Ok, so OF COURSE it's not as good as the first, but what do you expect. I told you that I'm not good at writing love stories.
