Ron stopped in the doorway to the kitchen. There was a lot of reasons why he stopped, and a year ago, he would have stopped for every single one of them;
(His brother Charlie was never home unless it was Christmas or their mother insisted. He had loved Romania too much, and he dreaded how easily he and his mother fought.
Charlie never brought home his boyfriends. They were the reason his mother and him fought.
Charlie would never kiss anyone if their mother could find him - home or not.
A Weasley - Charlie or not - wouldn't have his arms around a Malfoy, and definitely not this particular one which Charlie knew Ron hated(along with most others) and who was eight years yonger than Charlie)
However, these things had become regular the past year and a half (and Ron had to admit that Draco wasn't only bad), what wasn't regular, was Charlie Weasley with a blonde ponytail and Draco Malfoy in sweat pants.
"What in the.." Ron spluttered, drawing the two love birds attention.
"What did he do to you Charlie?" he asked horrified.
Blonde hair certainly didn't suit Charlie, but he wasn't exactly unattractive either.
Draco though.. Ron didn't know how to describe how the sweat pants made him look like. Civil? Nice? Approachable.
"Like it?" Charlie asked as he turned his head so Ron could get a better look at the blonde hair.
"Draco still thinks it's a bit too red/dark, but I told him it wouldn't get lighter if he didn't relax a bit more. I mean, this guy can look totally at ease, doing business, even when he's wearing squared Gryffindor-coloured sweatpants" Charlie laughed, and Draco rolled his eyes.
"This man is impossible to make relaxed, he always manage to look posh"
About that, Charlie was right. Draco looked posh, even wearing the uncharacteristically Weasley-sweatpants, the Malfoy looked ready to attend a ministry meeting.
However, whether Charlie was right or not, wasn't the question.
"You dyed your hair so he would wear sweatpants?" Ron asked, not believing his brother.
Both men nodded. "Charlie wanted me to become more like him, then it was only fair if he became a bit like me" Draco said, and Charlie seemed to agree.
"And you couldn't have taught him Occlumency?" Ron's shocked expression, finally, turned into a frown, while Draco shook his head.
"If I have to look ridiculous, so does he" he stated, and Charlie rolled his eyes this time.
"It's like I'm dealing with Fred and George here" he said, and Ron was once again left nearly speechless.
He soon smirked at Draco though - the expression looking oddly out of context when Ron did it and not the blonde. "So you admit that blonde look stupid?" he said, and Charlie chuckled as Draco sighed.
When the Malfoy spoke again, it was slowly, as if explaining to a fifth grader.
"Blonde looks stupid with Weasley freckles and almost curls" he explained to Ron, but before the Weasley could reply, his brother took over.
"So what about our children? Not allowed to have freckles?" Charlie grinned, and it was obvious that he was teasing.
Ron never heard the answer, he instead turned around and went to bed.
He may love his brother, but the man was completely nutters when it came to Draco.
