The Gathering of Nations
Summary: Two Navajo girls with the power of wandless magic are called by the Order to help defeat he-who-must-not-be-named. What will happen when nations collide?
Chapter 1 The Grand Entry
One very serious Kingsley Shacklebot arrives at Albuquerque, New Mexico via floo. Kingsley and various other Order members have been going around the world asking for help against he-who-must-not-be-named. There have been rumors among the magical world that on the Navajo nation two orphaned sisters have mastered wandless magic, an asset the Order could use against he-who-must-not-be-named.
It's been heard the sisters will be at the Gathering of Nations. The sisters usually buy underground remedies to help cure people from evil. Stories have been told they're the chosen ones and somehow relate to the Monster Slayer Brothers.
Kingsley makes his way through muggle transport to where the Gathering of Nations is being held, once there, he makes his way through the big crowd asking for the Neewa sisters. Finally he reaches a small-area overlooking the powwow. Two raven-haired girls sit watching in wonder, for the Grand Entry has just begun.
"Which one of you is Raven Neewa?" he asks loudly through the noise. The two girls look up at him.
"Who's asking?" the gray-eyed one asks.
"Kingsley Shacklebot, I sent an owl," he says. The one with hazel eyes stands.
"I'm Raven Neewa, this is my sister, Halona," she says gesturing to the gray-eyes girl. Halona stands up.
"I'm going to get some frybread. Also not safe place to speak in public, Tchin'dih (evil-spirit)," she says.
"Lona's right we can talk at our place. Follow me," she says following Halona out. "Lona let's go!" she says grabbing her sister's arm.
"I didn't get my frybread!" Halona says pouting. Raven rolls her eyes. They drive to their apartment where Raven finally takes out an irregular looking wand. She does several enchantments and then turns around to face Shacklebot.
"So you want us to help you?" she asks.
"Yes, we need all the help we can get," he says.
"Hahgo ch'iniijeeh (when do we leave)?" Halona asks. Kingsley looks at her puzzled.
"I do not speak Navajo," he simply says.
"When do we leave?"
