I'd really like to hear everyone's opinion! This is my first One Tree Hill fiction, so I am open to all suggestions. Please R&R! I'll accept the good, bad, and the ugly. This first chapter is centered on Nathan and Haley, but it may not continue like that. I'm thinking maybe each chapter be centered on a person or couple. Also it's going to be like a songfic too. It'll have a different song every chapter. What do y'all think?---Christine
Twists and Broken Hearts
High school is hard enough, but it's even harder for the teenagers of Tree Hill, NC. I mean, how many sophomore's do you know that are married?
The real me is a southern girl with her Levis on and an open heart
Wish I could save the world, like I was super girl
The real me used to laugh all night lying in the grass just talking about love
But lately I've been jaded life got so complicated
"Haley? Are you here?" Nathan yells, as he's walking into his apartment he shares with his new wife, Haley.
"Yeah! I'm in here!" Haley screams back from another room.
Nathan smiles at the sound of her voice. God he loves that girl, despite the fact that his mother completely disagrees with their decision.
"What are you doing, baby?"
"Mmm...just working on this stupid chemistry paper that's due tomorrow."
"Well you can leave that for a minute, come here," he says opening his arms to her.
"No Nate, not now, I really need to finish this," she on," he begs.
"I told you I got this---!" Nathan interrupts her sentence by pressing his lips on hers.
Haley opens her eyes slowly and says, "I love you Mr. Scott."
"And I love you Mrs. Scott."
You speak and it's like a song
And just like that all my walls come down
It's like a private joke just meant for us to know

Two Days Later
Nathan walks up the steps to his apartment yet another night, expecting none other than Haley quietly doing her homework in their bedroom. Well tonight was different. As he walks closer to her door he hears loud pop music playing. "What the hell?" he says to himself. He opens the door to hear Haley dancing with a brush and belting out notes to Jessica Simpson's song "In This Skin".
"To be worthy
To feel beautiful in this skin
Be beautiful in this skin

Have confidence in this skin
Be confident in this skinnnnn" she sings prolonging the last word. The door shuts and she jumps. "Oh my God! I didn't know you were there! Oh my God!..." she rambles on for a few seconds. "How long were you standing there?" Haley stammers, with red cheeks and embarrassment written on her face.
