Nightmares of a Rozen Maiden
Suigin Tou
"Father?" Suigin Tou sits at a table. The table is old fashioned and looks like it's made of mahogany, with exaggerated wooden vines creeping from it. Opposite her sits Father.
"Good Morning Father!" Suigin Tou suddenly feels calm and peaceful, as if this is a usual scene, even though she's never met Father. He looks so happy, but then a man in suit with a rabbits head walks out from behind his chair. Laplace!
"Hello Rozen!" Fathers head drops forwards as if he's just fallen asleep, and then he falls off his chair.
"No! Father!" Suigin Tou tries to jump off her chair and run to Father, but she can't. Something is holding her back.
"Hello Suigin Tou!" Laplace walks towards her. "You're trapped. Time to go to sleep now!"
"What have you done? W…Wha… What have… you… do…done?" Suigin Tou feels her eyelids grow increasingly heavy. "I… won't… let… you… hurt… fa… FATHER!" all of a sudden she gave one final push away from the sleep. The oblivion that awaited. She became free.
"Suigin Tou! Don't hurt him!" Fathers voice speaks out and Suigin Tou is torn between her will and her need to obey father.
"Father! Help me!" she looks at Laplace with eyes full of hatred and he returned her glare.
"Father can't help you. Father's sleeping. Now, behave for your father!" Laplace tries to step towards her, but something stops him.
Suigin Tou sends thousands of sharp black feathers at him and just before it hits him, he changes into Father.
As the feathers hit him, he yells out in agony, before dropping to the floor. Still and lifeless his body seems to fall in slow motion as Suigin Tou realises what she has done.
She has killed Father and for this she lets herself sink onto the oblivion that has always awaited her.
