"Damn it" I said in a not so controlled voice throwing the remote across the room hitting the wall with a loud thud. Why was there nothing on?

Lately I've been a bit more on edge since Roza left. Awwhh my sweet sweat Roza. Was she safe from harm's way? I knew that answer before I even thought it. As guardians we are never out of harms way. Especially Roza being Lissas guardian. I missed here so much.

Lissa was currently in Turkey doing her job as the queen. I was proud of what she had accomplished, especially turning the Guardian age law back to 18, but with that came long trips away from court, which meant Roza was also gone. Well at least they were long to me. A day without Roza was long. This was by far the longest trip; 2 weeks. They wouldn't be home for another week and even though I talked to Roza almost every night I still missed her.

I looked at the clock on the bedside table. 11:02 . Roza called me every night at 11 and even though she's only 2 minutes late it still worried me. I continued to watch the clock, slowly counting the seconds in my head before another minute went by. At 11:15 I really got worried. Why hadn't she called?I couldn't help it and reached over to the bedside table to grab my phone before dialing her number. The second I pressed the call button I heard her beautiful voice.

That sweet lovely voice that had a hard, strong edge to it made me gasp for air. Her voice mail. Roza Never Ever turned her cell phone off, maybe on silent, but never off. I quickly hung up and called back just to hear her voice mail. I called another 15 times before I threw my phone onto the bed with anger. I sat there wondering to myself what was going on?

I got off our bed and practically ran out mine and Roza's home to Christians. I rang the doorbell for 5 minutes before realizing Christian wasn't home. I wish Christian would go with Lissa on her trips so I could go too as his Guardian but someone had to stay at the palace. I wasn't sure where I was headed until I ran into Guardian Loren. Guardian Loren was in charge of all travel plans for the Queen and kept in contact throughout the whole trip with the guardians away. She had also become a good friend of Rose's in the past few months since me and Rose moved to court.

"Guardian Loren" I greeted

"Guardian Belikov" she greeted back with a nod.

"I was wondering if you had talked to the Queen and her guardians tonight" I asked with a straight face hoping she didn't see worry in my eyes.

I almost lost my mind when a grin appeared on her face. The hell.

"Yes I just talked to Rose, Dimitri. They are fine" all formalities dropped. She looked at me with a smile and I quickly thanked her before running to my room, hoping Roza called me. When I got there my phone had no missed calls or texts and it's close to 12. Why would she call Guardian Loren and not bother with me? I didn't know what was going on. I did the only thing I knew how to do in order to get this stress out when I didn't have Roza.

I changed out of my Guardian outfit that I had on from my earlier shift and into an old T-shirt I knew my Roza loved to sleep in with a pair of old shorts and sneakers. I was upset she wasn't calling me. No, I was mad. And I needed to release it. I left the room without a second glance and headed to the gym, directing my way to the punching bags.
